After a very successful project working with JJ Construction in our old flat a few years ago, we recently contracted them again for our second big project in the kitchen and living room of our new house. This involved some structural work - propping up the kitchen roof with a steel truss, installing collar ties in the roof space, knocking through a new double opening, widening another doorway and widening a stairway which was particularly tricky. Floor, wall and room-in-roof insulation was installed. We also put in six new velux, three new windows and one triple door. Three further internal oak doors were expertly made and fitted, underfloor heating in the kitchen was installed, new wooden flooring in the living room and a new kitchen were also fitted. Everything was done to a very high standard and it was obvious that they took personal pride in a job very well done. They were always approachable and willing to discuss problems or changes of direction throughout the project. We normally met every morning before work and this 2-way open conversation was key to keeping everything on track. I would definitely recommend JJ Construction to anyone, and in fact am planning to work with them soon for further work in our house.
